Apple has officially introduced the M6 chip in its latest Mac mini, marking a significant milestone as the world’s first commercially available 2-nanometer processor. AI Power and Graphics Performance

The M6 introduces a dual 16-core Neural Engine, doubling peak AI compute performance over previous generations. Each core of the 12-core GPU is now equipped with dedicated Neural Accelerators, providing a 30% increase in AI compute compared to the M5, and an 8x increase over the M1. Complementing this is the second generation of Dynamic Caching and hardware-accelerated ray tracing, ensuring significantly faster rendering for creative professionals and gamers.


Memory Bandwidth and Capacity

Apple has raised the memory ceiling in the new Mac mini to 32GB of unified memory. Furthermore, memory bandwidth has reached 170 GB/s. Who Should Upgrade?

With a starting price of $899, the decision to upgrade depends on your current hardware:
