Xiaomi has launched the global version of its imaging-focused flagship, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, co-engineered with Leica. It features a new 1-inch Light Fusion 1050L main sensor with LOFIC HDR technology and a groundbreaking 75–100mm mechanical optical zoom paired with a 200MP telephoto camera, the first in a Xiaomi phone to carry Leica APO certification.
The phone boasts a 6.9-inch HyperRGB OLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. It is IP68 rated and comes in three colorways. Dedicated Photography Kit accessories with physical controls are also available.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced starting at £1,299 / €1,499 for the 16GB+256GB model and will be available in Europe and Australia.
