A New Contender in High-End Audio

Marshall, the legendary brand synonymous with iconic amplifiers and speakers, has officially unveiled its latest innovation: the Milton A.N.C. headphones. Building upon the success of the popular Major V series, this new model seeks to bridge the gap between Marshall's signature aesthetic and the advanced technical specifications modern listeners demand.

Technical Upgrades and Battery Longevity

The Milton A.N.C. comes packed with features designed to compete with the industry's heaviest hitters. Notably, the device supports Bluetooth 6.0 and Bluetooth LE, ensuring robust connectivity. Perhaps most impressive is the battery performance, which offers up to 80 hours of playback time. Even with Active Noise Cancellation enabled, users can expect roughly 50 hours of usage—significantly exceeding the capacity offered by many flagship competitors.

Refining the Listening Experience

Addressing feedback from users of previous models, Marshall has implemented significant physical and internal adjustments. According to Nicolas Pignier Delafontaine, Senior Manager of Audio and Acoustic at Marshall:

«If you compare Milton A.N.C. with our other on-ear headphones, like the beloved design of Major V, you'll notice a few big differences. We've increased the ear cushion size to help keep the sound in and improve passive noise attenuation. We've introduced an entirely new driver system tuned to improve bass and treble extension, delivering dynamic Hi-Res audio with rich details.»

These larger memory foam earcups are specifically engineered to provide comfort during extended listening sessions while simultaneously improving passive noise isolation.

Design Philosophy: Concert Sound vs. Isolation

While some high-end headphones focus on a clinical, isolated listening environment, Marshall maintains its heritage by focusing on a more energetic sound profile. The company targets listeners who appreciate the nuances of rock, punk, and indie genres, aiming to replicate the feeling of a live concert experience. Visually, the headphones retain the brand's premium appeal, featuring textured leather materials and robust metal hardware.

Availability and Pricing

With a retail price point of $229, the Milton A.N.C. positions itself as a competitive alternative to much pricier luxury headphones currently on the market. The product is scheduled for release on May 27 via the official Marshall website.
