Honor presented its vision for Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) and its ALPHA PLAN at MWC 2026, aiming to become a leader in human-centric AI ecosystems. Alongside a novel Robot Phone, the company introduced its inaugural humanoid robot, simply named the Honor Robot.
The bipedal robot performed a dance routine on stage with professional human dancers, executing moves including a moonwalk. Honor CEO James Li confidently interacted with the robot live, even requesting a successful somersault.
A progress video highlighted the robot's development journey, showing earlier clumsy prototypes prone to falling. Honor stated the robot will focus on three core scenarios: shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and supportive companionship.
For companionship, the goal is to create embodied AI that can recognize individuals, understand their needs, and offer personalized physical assistance from the first interaction. Honor enters a crowded humanoid robotics field, betting on its strategy and innovation to carve out a niche.
